Assignment Details

Our client, a leading American multinational manufacturer of confectionery & pet food, is looking to engage with a Consultant who will drive insights and analytics to maximize value delivery within the Route to Market space focusing on distributor services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze data to generate breakthrough insights that support markets to overcome challenges they face related to portfolio sales or supply chain.
- Support the implementation of digital solutions for the sales organization.
- Develop business opportunities with the sales teams.
- Propose suggestions for improvements to the sales team.
- Support the development of the company’s spend and growth strategies.
- Analyze Market & competitor trends for Go to Market strategies.
- Analyze Sales of company’s portfolio with specified channels and partners to determine sales optimization opportunities.
- Analyze Sales ROI & Margins for distributor activities.
- Analyze internal and external Market sales and financial data to deliver an intervention plan focusing on optimizing & growing the as is Go to Market strategy. - Stay up to date with Market intel on new technology related to sales and distribution.
- Create and analyze dashboards and mappings to support the sales team.
- Map and analyze the product/sales portfolio and identify new business
- Map and analyze performance of sales reps and logistics routing to identify
the desirable ROI.
- Analyze margin and discount rates for the Market's distributors against
competitive rates.
- Generate Insights across the Route to Market strategy to support the
business with optimization & growth goals.
- Support the implementation & own the digital commercial solutions
developed to support the sales & commercial organizations.

Skills Required

- A minimum of 7-12 years of working experience in Sales &/or Route to Market Strategy Analytics.
- Experience and working knowledge on FMCG/CPG Route to Market Strategies, Sales and Digital Transformation for India and Asia markets.
- Experience with Data preparation and visualization tools such as Thinkcell, Excel, Power BI, etc. to drive business insights.
- Experience in managing and visualizing large Data sets.
- Experience with Sales & Finance Data Analysis, Product portfolio, P&L and
suggestions for improvements.
