Assignment Details

Our client, a healthcare utilities firm is looking for a analyst to support them in research and analysis for the development of a new business strategy in the healthcare and pharma space.

Responsibilities:
1. Conducting a primary and secondary market research analysis across parameters on the white spaces in the industry, given the firm's background
2. Drive Competitor, SWOT and Potential Customer Segment analysis while evaluating the new business ideas
3. Review, test and validate the key assumptions underlying the financial modelling; assess the viability of the income stream by looking at the assumptions. The evaluation of research needs to be robust as it will form an imperative part of decision making
4. Research well on the healthcare regulations associated and the licenses that would be required
5. Support the senior consultants on determining the financial requirements of the new business line
6. Structure the core financial model to make it easily consumable by stakeholders and decision makers

This project would require full time capacity for a duration of 3 months. The analyst will be supporting and working in close coordination with a senior consultant for strategy development

Skills Required

1. Prior experience in a consulting firm is a must
2. Expertise in building and pressure testing complex models for financial products.
3. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; expertise in Excel advance will be a bonus
4. Should be a team player
