Assignment Details

A public health research and consulting organisation is looking to onboard a program manager who will work closely with the members of
the consortium in the development of project documents
for a short term project as part of the Tuberculosis Health Action Learning Initiative (THALI).

Roles & responsibilities:
1) Showcase the successes and innovative approaches/key processes undertaken by THALI to achieve its objectives.
2) Review of existing project documents after getting a detailed orientation on the project and deliverables.
3) Based on the briefing and review of documents, submit the ‘Inception report’: Inception report
to cover:
4) Briefing and review of documents and providing a status update.
5) Consultant will interview relevant staff and external stakeholders to capture key processes and ensure all information is covered.
6) The Consultant will communicate with relevant members of THALI team in Kolkata as well as Activity Manager in Delhi and senior members from WHP based in Delhi to get their insights as needed.
7) Develop the documents as per plan (innovative approaches, learnings, success stories, factsheets and reports) with appropriate graphics, flow charts and photos.
8) Incorporate suggestions from the THALI team and submit final version of all the documents.

Skills Required

1) Master’s in mass communication/journalism/development studies/social work other similar disciplines.
2) Prior experience of developing compelling success stories, process documents, fact sheets,videos for public healthcare projects.
3) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with expertise in designing andproviding a visual appeal to the document. This is a must have attribute skill.
4) Strong understanding of public health programs, knowledge and prior experience of working inTB program would be an added advantage.
5) Excellent interpersonal skills.
6) Should be based in Kolkata.
