Assignment Details

Our client, a top tier consulting firm, is looking to engage with a data scientist who can implement digital solutions and build digital tools to extract valuable business insights, in a manufacturing setup.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
2. Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
3. Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
4. Present information using data visualization techniques
5. Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
6. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

This project requires full time support

Skills Required

- Prior experience in working in manufacturing sector is necessary
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist is a must
- Experience in data mining
- Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
- Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
- Analytical mind and business acumen
