Assignment Details
Our client a leading oil field service company, is looking to engage with someone who will serve as the SAP Security subject matter expert.
Essential Responsibilities:
o Onsite consultant provides governance and guidance of completion of security tasks, design and review of solutions, quality assurance, compliance adherence, problem resolution, and managed resource to complete security tasks.
o Serve as the SAP Security subject matter expert
o Gather business security Requirements
o Provide technical solution, blue print, design, test, document and implement security best practice controls for SAP security solution, interface security, communication security, etc…
o Execute security design and architecture across a portfolio of IT projects
o Coordinate and collaborate with business and IT support teams to provide and deliver a quality, secured solution
o Implement Security notes, upgrades, legal/compliance patches, deployments and enhancements
o Provide third level support for SAP Security including user administration, role administration, and customer services.
o Works with business and project teams to troubleshoot issues with security objects and identify and implement appropriate solutions.
o Design, implement, and support business process in an SAP environment, including new implementations, enhancements etc.
o Experience includes Authorization Issues troubleshooting, user administration, password management, authorization profiles internal auditing to ensure that all companies are followed.
Skills Required
o Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience implementing and maintaining SAP security concepts and strategies (role design, profile generation, authorization objects, etc.) and operational administration (PFCG role maintenance)
o Worked on end to end implementation for SAP security in addition to support and roll out projects.
o Comprehensive knowledge of SAP Security and Risk Management
o Functional knowledge of SAP ECC, GTS, CRM, BW, Portal, Solution Manager and GRC modules and the critical access requirements
o Demonstrates a logical and structured approach to time management and task prioritization.
o Good working knowledge on security transactions like SU01, SUIM, PFCG, SU24, SM20N, etc
o Worked on Transport Management System (STMS, SCC1, and SE10), System Trace (ST01 and STAUTHTRACE), authorization objects
o Experience in designing business aligned role-based security in compliance with best practices with SAP systems using profile generator (PFCG), SU24 configuration. Developed Security roles using standard & custom security objects, authorization field groups etc.
o Designed, developed and implemented security roles for ECC (SD, FI, CO, MM, and WM), BI, SCM, SRM and Portal
o Worked on TABLE/Program security
o Worked on IDM, role provisioning etc.
o Experience in gathering security requirements for SAP Security
o Knowledge of SOX and controls is a preference
