Our client, a leading management consulting firm, is looking to engage with a consultant who has prior exposure to Project Management & Delivery in - Supply Chain & Warehousing .
Responsibility:
- Design transportation network & operating processes in line with defined business objectives
- Assisting in strategy in Fulfilment Centre implementation i.e business of storing goods at a warehouse and processing orders.
- Develop operating & financial plan for fulfilment business
- Build unit economics model for fulfilment business and transportation network
- Assess technology requirements to operate transportation & fulfilment businesses
- Good grasp on the Warehousing business : Sufficient perspective on market structure, competition landscape, business fundamentals and margin structure
- Exposure to Project Management & Delivery in Supply Chain
- 4-8 years of experience in manufacturing/supply chain/Warehousing
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills and good time-management skills
- Should have great interpersonal and communication skills
- Adept at building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers
- Proficiency in MS Excel, has to work on data analysis, research, information collection from various sources.
- This role would require consultants to travel as and when needed.
