Assignment Details

Our client is a Hyderabad based nonprofit which is setting up a multi-stakeholder collaborative platform aimed at improving primary health outcomes of tribal populations in India.

We are looking for an engagement manager to join our team for a duration of 6-8 months for a project in tribal healthcare. The manager would be managing a team of 2-3 consultants.

Responsibilities include:
1) Work closely with the client's partner and the team to lead on timely delivery and management of the project
2) Play a key role in client relationship management
3) Guide the team with strategy development, platform establishment, and implementation support
4) Help conduct discussions with/ undertake due diligence of prospective partners

The role also requires field visits to other cities and tribal areas, participation in key meetings with the client and external stakeholders.

Skills Required

1) Knowledge and experience of the social impact sector in India – ideally in public health and nutrition; rural healthcare delivery will be a big plus.
2) Should have strong project and team management skills
3) Prior experience of managing client relationships, and be willing to travel to remote/ rural tribal locations.
4) Strong communication skills
