Assignment Details

This is a foundational level position that delivers value and growth by driving product quality, assuring consumer safety and promoting efficiency based on robust science while developing consumer-relevant product options. (Individual contributor, reporting into product development scientist)

Key responsibilities include:
1. Deliver with consistent guidance from others. Perform defined assignments or research in the entry level to a technical or expert job progression.
2. Understand and follow the business strategy; applying general knowledge of business developed through their education or past experience.
3. Understand how their work fits into the business strategy. Perform work within an assigned project.
4. Use existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems; analyze information and standard practices to make judgments.
5. Generally work within standardized procedures and practice to achieve objective and meet deadlines (GSQA, QMP, MQM, etc.).
6. Partner cross functionally to develop success criteria, qualification and validation plan with support from other associates.

Skills Required

- Must have a Master’s Degree in Food Science or Food Engineering or Food Technology or Dairy Science (or related Sciences) with at least 2 years of product development experience in Food Products.
- Demonstrated ability of product development.
- Working knowledge covering food safety and food hygiene programs, food processing and legislation.
