Assignment Details

Our client, a global manufacturer of confectionery products, is looking to engage with a consultant who can help them in developing and monitoring their supply chain strategy as well as collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Assessing multiple co-packaging centre vendors in Maharashtra, sharing a detailed assessment of the viability of each vendor and final recommendation.
2. Conducting a detailed compliance assessment, vendor capabilities on quality, process, manpower, logistics and warehousing, financial status, and more.
3. Analyzing the overall impact on logistics cost and overall client operations should also be assessed.
4. Collaborating with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
5. Developing and implementing safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain
6. Ensuring supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
7. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals

Skills Required

- Prior project management experience – setting up green field, brown field projects. Additional exposure to managing outsourced processing centers can also be helpful along with understanding of supply chain costing / accounting and project proposal preparation.
- Good communication skills where the individual can confidently communicate with leadership teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Decent skills in Excel / PPT.
