Assignment Details

Our client, a Global Management Consultancy is working with a pharma player. They're looking to engage with a mid-to-senior consultant from the Pharma industry to support on ground plant activities- both APIs and OSD domains.

Key Responsibilities-
1. Plan, organise, run optimum day-to-day operations
2. Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
3. Work with the senior management to allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
4. Develop and implement process improvement and operational excellence strategies to improve efficiency and product quality, cycle time reduction, yield improvement, cost saving efforts
5. Develop processes and metrics to track plant production, capacity; define performance and operational targets
5. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.

The consultant would be expected to be present at the manufacturing plant based in Maharashtra.

Skills Required

- Proven, hands on experience in manufacturing of APIs and/or OSDs
- In depth understanding of manufacturing and operational processes associated with APIs and OSDs
- Knowledge about various machine operations and well versed with operational excellence principles e.g. OEE, six sigma etc.,
- Ability to work in a team, on ground at the plant.
- Strong Problem Solving and Interpersonal Skills
