The client is looking to strengthen the marketing organisation in the APAC region in order to build the skills needed for the future as well as deliver on the near-term growth opportunities. They are looking for a seasoned marketing consultant who can help them develop a view on the capabilities needed. The project will focus on
1. Understanding where the industry is headed
- Consumer expectations and how they are changing in the B2B Healthcare context (the client sells into Pharma companies and other R&D organisation)
- Skills competitors are building for the future (e.g., digital)
2. Mapping the client's current capabilities and identifying the key gaps
3. Understanding the growth priorities over the next 1-2 years and identifying the skills that will be critical to delivering on near term revenues, and a strategy to quickly bring these on board; budget implications of the same
4. Thinking through the medium and longer-term investments that need to be made to build functional excellence and also continue on a strong growth trajectory
5. Outlining a broad organisation structure for the APAC marketing function, and how the functions and geographies will interact
The marketing consultant will work closely with an Organisation Design specialist who can help with translating the capabilities needed into how they should be organised.
The duration of the project is 8 weeks.
1. Seasoned marketing professional with experience of building and leading the function.
2. Experience with B2B marketing and with healthcare is a must
3. Experience of working in international markets including Asia Pacific (APAC) will be a huge plus
