Assignment Details

Our client, a global FMCG company is looking to engage with a Consultant with experience in developing Shiny web applications.

Key responsibilities:
- Debugging skills to reduce code bottle necks, optimize and refactor code base to improve efficiency, clean shiny reactivity and reduce overall memory usage.
- Developing and maintaining R Script and Front End based on R shiny, including new feature design, comprehensive testing, and documentation.
- Guide, discuss and implement best web development features to R Shiny applications.

Duration - 7 to 8 months
Capacity- Full time
Location- Remote or Bangalore

Skills Required

- 6-8 years of professional work experience developing and deploying Shiny web applications.
- Excellent R programming Skills and shiny web app development.
- Experience in building advanced Shiny apps, code modularization.
- Proficient R debugging skills to reduce code bottle necks, optimize and refactor code base to improve efficiency, clean shiny reactivity and reduce overall memory usage
- Developing and maintaining R Script and Front End based on R shiny, including new feature design, comprehensive testing, and documentation.
- Be a champion R Shiny consultant to guide, discuss and implement best web development features to R Shiny applications.
- Sound knowledge of the fundamentals of machine learning statistics.
- Worked on R packages like Data, Table, dplyr, tidry, Ggplot2
- Knowledge and experience of Web application development tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), UX designing, Software testing
- Exposure to cloud platform like Azure, AWS
- Have technical documentation skill and working knowledge in Agile projects
- Experience in deployments using Azure DevOps, Knowledge on CICD pipelines and setting up Docker images
