Assignment Details

Our client, a leading financial services firm is looking to engage with a consultant.

Key responsibilities.

1.Lead the development of strategies for business units (e.g. IT staffing) and support
functions (e.g. HR, Digital) through hypothesis-based analysis
2.Develop solutions and action plans through strategic analysis, option development and evaluation of existing business practice
3.Develop analytic and financial models to support your recommendations to ensure data-driven decision-making
4. Distil data, insights and information into clear and compelling presentations that can be circulated for broad alignment
5. Support the development of management dashboards and KPIs to identify baseline and track toward target performance
6.Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and assist in the
implementation of strategy
7.Be prepared for a startup-like environment where initiative is expected for individuals to take on responsibilities beyond what is normally expected of their job titles.

Skills Required

• Ideally 4+ years of experience working in Big 4/ top-tier boutique
consulting firms which has armed you with a “consulting toolkit”
• High-level of proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, and data visualisation with strong skills in project and stakeholder management
• Exceptional analytical skills, including proven skills in financial modelling and strategic evaluation
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong influencer who can work with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence and poise in presenting to management and senior leaders
• Relentless focus on details, accuracy, and quality
• Intellectually curious, high energy and resilient
• Available and responsive to the communication needs of remote working
• Flexible and able to balance multiple projects/ priorities and demanding timelines
