Assignment Details
We are looking for a logistics and supply chain consultant to introduce automation and efficiency in our current business operations. We plan to cover both inbound and outbound logistics operations with a consultant from any industry who can bring in new age ideas.
The consultant will be directly working with the top level management and will be responsible for:
1. Analysing and redesigning processes to achieve dramatic improvements in critical measures of performance, such as cost, quality, service, and speed
2. Leveraging industry trends, best practices, and leading-edge technology and process improvement ideas and implementing them in the existing processes
3. Experimenting and setting up automation processes across functions with core emphasis on cost, output, and supply-side efficiency
4. Influencing decisions and drive change management training exercises with respect to modified processes and automation technologies
The role is mainly based out of Delhi NCR and will require frequent travel to our other offices/manufacturing units in Punjab and Madhya Pradesh
Skills Required
1. Experience with supply chain and logistics with core emphasis on automation
2. Strong problem structuring skills and an ability to quickly derive insights from data
3. Comfort with doing hands-on research & data analysis
4. Strong communication skills and experience with handling senior stakeholders
