Assignment Details

We are a group company that operates in five business segments: Yarn, Bed Linen, Paper, Chemicals and Captive Power with a customer base in more than 100 countries across 6 continents.

We are looking for an experienced Administration Head to supervise daily support operations of our company and plan the most efficient administrative procedures. You will lead a team of professionals to complete a range of administrative duties in different departments.

Some key deliverable include:
1. Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
2. Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
3. Manage schedules and deadlines
4. Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
5. Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation; should be excellent in negotiation and vendor generation.
6. Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and tradespersons (e.g electricians)
7. Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc.)
8. Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations
9. Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments.

Skills Required

1. Proven experience as administration manager
2. In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies
3. Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles
4. Proficient in MS Office
5. An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
6. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
7. A team player with leadership skills

Ex-military experience would be preferred.
