Assignment Details

We are looking for a senior finance professional to lead a team on managing and stabilizing the finance operations for a large scale civil project. The consultant would be required to:

1. Oversee, guide and direct the finance & accounts function. Ensure that sound accounting practices are being followed
2. Oversee the clean-up, review and validation of financial statements, accounts, etc
3. Highlight inconsistencies in the accounts and provide resolution to open issues
4. Address issues and guide team accordingly
5. Ensure statutory forms and returns are being filed on time
6. Ensure compliance with DVAT, Service Tax, TDS requirements. Ensure norms are being met.
7. Prepare the overall budget for the civil project and monitor regularly to ensure actual spend does not exceed the budget

The consultant would be required to travel to the project site in Punjab/Indore as and when required.

Skills Required

1. Should have a master's degree in finance, accounting or business administration
2. Should have experience in partnering with an executive team
3. High level of written and oral communication skills required
4. Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods. Strategic mind that is able to think long term
5. Personal effectiveness – planning, time management, process orientation
6. Minimum 10 years of experience in leadership positions in the finance vertical of firms
