Our client, a pan-African infrastructure and logistics solutions company is developing ecosystems designed to make Africa thrive. They are looking to onboard a few Product Managers for a 3 months project.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Develop and implement strategies for specific modules of the product, keeping in mind the needs of the business
2. Detailing out new product features – from conceptualizing to developing the business case to detailing out the detailed functionality
3. Define product release timelines and testing and launch requirements, working closely with the technology team
4. Managing the tech team to ensure timely delivery
5. Building interactions and experience as reference points as well as feedback from customers and clients
6. Resolve user pain points by improving the functionality and driving resolution of product issues by ensuring weekly platform testing sessions
Note - This is a full-time project for 3 months, out of which 2 months will be onsite in western Africa.
- Combination of an understanding of technology as well as business requirements
- Experience in developing technology platforms by understanding client needs, detailing Customer Journeys, defining functional use cases, and handing over to Product Engineering teams to build
- Strong business, managerial and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ownership to ensure things get done
- Strong communication skills, and should be able to work collaboratively with the tech, marketing, and operations teams
