How it works?

You will see a tab reading “My Verification” on your dashboard. Clicking on that leads you to a form where you file in your request for verification. You can choose to get “Fully Verified” by opting for both employment/client and reference checks or get “Partially Verified” by opting for any of the two checks. Once the verification is successfully completed, your profile will have a badge featured at the top of your profile indicating that you are a ‘Verified’ professional.
Strengthens a professional’s skill profile and adds credibility by having future clients / companies hear from past ones!
If you are an organisation,
You will be able to see badges against the names and profiles of those professionals for whom background verification has been successfully done. For professionals who are not yet verified, you can opt for conducting their verification before or after contacting them for your assignment.
It will help you make more informed choices about the best professionals for an assignment. Profiles with background verification done, get listed higher, as it’s an important indicator of the authenticity of the profile

We are looking for a consultant in the DRI -> Sponge Iron -> TMT bars space. The ideal candidate would know this industry very well across the entire value chain on Sponge iron, Induction Refining, Continuous casting and rolling mills making end products like TMT bars, Angle bars, channels etc. Below some thoughts on someone withe expertise in below areas.
Ex or current executives from major DRI/ Sponge Iron/TMT companies.
1. Technical Expertise:
Sponge Iron (DRI) Production:
Knowledge of coal-based vs. gas-based DRI processes.
Understanding of raw material (iron ore, coal, gas) quality requirements.
Familiarity with rotary kiln & tunnel kiln technologies.
Downstream Rolling & TMT Production:
Understanding of rolling mill operations (wire rods, TMT bars, etc.).
Knowledge of Thermo-Mechanical Treatment (TMT) processes.
Experience with induction furnaces, electric arc furnaces (EAF), and continuous casting (CCM).
2. Industry Experience in India:
Hands-on experience with Indian sponge iron plants (e.g., Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka clusters).
Knowledge of coal linkages, captive power plants, and scrap recycling dynamics.
Familiarity with key players (JSPL, Tata Steel, JSW, Vedanta, etc.) and mid-sized DRI players.
3. Market & Supply Chain Insight:
Understanding of demand-supply trends for sponge iron & TMT bars.
Awareness of export-import dynamics.
Ability to analyze raw material price fluctuations (iron ore, coal, scrap).
4. Operational & Financial Efficiency:
Experience in cost optimization (coal consumption, power costs, yield improvement).
Knowledge of CAPEX vs. OPEX trade-offs in DRI & rolling mills.
Ability to advise on technology upgrades (coal gasification, waste heat recovery, etc.).
