Assignment Details

Our client, a leading manufacturer of confectionary and pet food, is looking to engage with a Demand Planning Lead consultant.

Key Responsibilities-

• Owns the Consensus forecast for the portfolio/region.
• Providing the insights for the consensus forecast across the full horizon.
• Maintain forecast drivers for the portfolio/region, understand drivers of the base sale trends (last year, previous years and YOY), upside and downside scenarios.
• Assess trends, risks and opportunities together with the Sales, Marketing and Finance teams
• Incorporates approved upside and downside scenarios on top of the system generated forecast at appropriate level of hierarchy.
• Monitor forecast consumption versus forecast and work with MC manager to respond to forecast evolution during the cycle.

• Owns the red to green roadmap for full horizon forecast accuracy.

Skills Required

• Masters in business, supply chain management preferred. Bachelors in science and/or engineering.
• BSc or BA in supply chain management or any other business or engineering related degree.

• >5 years of demand management experience for a global or multi-plant CPG/FMCG company
• >5 years of experience in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Knowledge / Experience
• EZE understanding of Supply Chain with experience in Demänd Planning. Supply Planning S&OP, Inventory Management
• Ability to present complex analysis in understandable forms to business stakeholders including the ability to articulate the needs of the business and the customers to supply chain stakeholders
• Ability to work in a matrix structure
• Ability to listen to others and link to others' ideas
• Attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy
• 3 years logistics, planning or procurement experience for a CPG oc retail company.
