Assignment Details

• Candidates to have experience in operations of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities including installation, repair, maintenance, disinfection of water to prevent water-borne illnesses and negative environmental impacts in compliance with applicable regional health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Experience with the processes to improve treatment efficiency and prevent system failure according to regional industry best practices would be desired
• Experience with design, inspection and testing of water distribution and wastewater collection systems would be an asset
• Experience with current and emerging water and wastewater treatment technologies would be an asset
• Relevant Experience in Teaching would be added advantage
• Must have exceptional communication and presentation skills in English
• Should be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Powerpointand Adobe PDF.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a top level technical or functional water expert supporting one or more clients
• Train the Students on an International Quality Curriculum for Indian students
• May perform business development activities, including providing technical input to proposal efforts in addition to training students
• May have supervisory responsibilities.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Civil/Environment Engineering or Bachelor of Science. Master’s degree preferable OR MSc Environmental Studies and Resource Development. In addition to this if the candidate has MBA Urban Development and Management or relevant field will be a big plus. Knowledge in the field of water and waste water treatment is a must.

About the Client

Reserwater Innovation Foundation (RWIF) founded by Vital Innovation City is setting up a world class integrated applied research platform that will further innovation in the water sector within India and internationally. This will be the first such initiative of its kind in India if not the world to bring in multiple disciplines within the same cluster including – Research & Academia, Government, Industry and Civil Society.

We will be setting a multi-disciplinary integrated global innovation platform dedicated to developments in the water sector. We aim to build a holistic ecosystem in this sector that will enable Capacity Building, Innovation & Research, Technology Solutions, Socio-Economic reforms, Data Management & Modeling as well as bring in Finance & Investment to develop this sector. This is first such initiative of its kind in India if not the world to bring in multiple disciplines within the same cluster including – Research and Academia, Government, Industry and Civil Society.

Reserwater Innovation Foundation Advisory Board comprises of some of the prominent people from the Government & Industry. These eminent and most respectable persons are:

2. Mr. P.S. Bami, former Chairman NTPC, India
3. Dr. A.N. Saksena, former Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor to the Government of India, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas
4. Dr. K Jairaj, former Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka
5. Mr. M. Sahu, former Additional Chief Secretary (Industries & Mines), Government of Gujarat
6. Mr. Ajai Chowdhry, founding member of HCL, India’s leading Technology and IT Enterprise

Reserwater has collaborated with Fleming College in Canada that has proven expertise in developing and delivering Environmental Programs. They have extensive knowledge of wastewater and water operations, curriculum, training coordination, and custom course delivery. Prime objective of the consortium is to focus its efforts to provide state of the art training to water and wastewater sectors in India.

Reserwater is a registered Not-for-profit entity in India.
