Assignment Details

Our client is a leading Indian foundation with a focus on working with governments to build the capacity of heath systems and improve outcomes. Some of the priority initiatives including - partnering with NITI Aayog and MoHFW on strengthening systems in the Aspirational Districts; initiatives to improve health outcomes for tribal populations; and implementation of EHR starting from the primary healthcare level.

They are implementing a system for EHR for the country and are looking for a seasoned project manager who can quarterback the implementation. This role will include:
- Developing a clear implementation plan for the next 6 months with timelines, owners and dependencies
- Outlining a tracking and monitoring mechanism that can be used to gauge progress
- Identifying critical milestones and dependencies jointly with stakeholders (e.g., behaviour change so frontline workers adopt the new systems, training etc) and putting specific plans in place around those
- Tracking progress and sharing weekly updates with the key stakeholders
- Helping debottleneck issues as they come up in specific geographies
- Developing synthesised documents for updates to and discussions with the government and partners

Please note that the project duration would be 6 months and the consultant will work directly with the State Govenment.

Skills Required

- Experience in top tier consulting firm is a plus.
- Should have a good understanding and experience of project management tools.
- Project experience in the public healthcare/ healthcare domain is expected.
- Strong analytical skills and expertise to review, analyze and use quantitative and qualitative data for decision making related to program improvements.
