Assignment Details

For one of our clients in the food industry in Philippines, we are looking for a consultant who can devise an economic model showing how a new sector specific tax (SSB) distorts the economy i.e.
- How it impacts employment in the sector, supply chain, etc.
- How it might not generate as much revenue as presumed (due to harm to sector outlined above)
- How alternative or existing VAT collection could be improved or optimized to raise said revenue without the distortionary impacts.

Skills Required

- Bachelors/ Master degree in Economics, Chartered Accountant, CFA or Tier-1 MBA-Finance is mandatory
- Similar experience in a Big4 or a top tier consulting firm preferred
- Experience of 3-6 years in Business analysis and Financial modelling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work ‘hands-on’ and multi-task in an energetic environment
