USAID PAHAL PROJECT – Vaccine Supply Chain Management
Partnerships for Affordable Healthcare Access and Longevity (PAHAL): IPE Global Limited under its PAHAL Project as one of its components is also developing Vaccine Supply Chain Management to provide technical support and risk mitigation measures to the Blended Financing Facility for healthcare solutions, that can play a critical role in offering blended financing options for various supply chain solutions that support and accelerate USAID approved COVID-19 vaccine deployment in India permitted under USAID’s vaccine technical assistance guidance.
The blended finance facility under PAHAL will use the supplemental COVID-19 vaccine funding to design and activate suitable innovative financing mechanisms like risk guarantees, impact investments, pay-for-results and blended instruments to mobilize public, private and philanthropic capital to strengthen the USAID-approved COVID-19 vaccine supply chain in India and other countries.

You will support the Vaccine SCM Team and provide inputs in the following area:
 Overall management and coordination of the project
 Conceptualize and design the vaccine landscaping study
 Coordinate with the research agency and various stakeholders to understand the vaccine and supply chain landscape.
 Engage with wider stakeholders to assess the requirement of knowledge products and accordingly design and prepare documents for the relevant audience.
 Identify various healthcare solutions working on the vaccine supply chain.
 Support the M&E activities such as establishing systems, tracking progress, setting indicators, and producing deliverables according to work plans.
 Ensure high-quality results reporting.

Skills Required

 Extensive knowledge of innovative financing models, supply chain management, and monitoring and evaluation
 Exposure to Health Sector is desirable
 The credibility of working with the Government of India, development partners and corporates
 A track record of strategic thinking and leading large-scale programmes
 Demonstrated ability to develop and manage client and stakeholder relationships
 Organised and experienced in managing projects and teams to tight budget and deadlines
 A team player who is a fast learner, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities, and able to work under pressure
