Our client, a leading international boutique consulting firm, is looking to engage with a consultant to carry out a M&A and Valuations research project focused on the longevity market as a subset from functional medicine space
Broad scope involves:
- Define the market size, relative to functional medicine space and the total healthcare market
- Define the growth of each – CAGR
- Establish the sector’s relative market share, CAGR and EV/EBITDA (based or recent transactions) for conventional targets like Functional medicine practices, Private GP practices/day clinics/hospital clinics with longevity adjacency and unconventional targets like Independent/SME esthetic practices, independent/Hotel adjacent health spas
- Develop an economic model around potential targets reflecting ratios of cross-over sales, sales numbers, growth, etc. for moonshot targets like eyecare centers,
pharmacies and Instacare centers within stores
- Define the major players, market size, growth rate and valuations of supplement providers in the USA.
- Attempt to define the sub-sector of longevity related supplements along the same elements: Players, size, CAGR, and valuations.
- Evaluation includes parameters like Unique brand positioning, Customer experience, health insurance cash stream, scalability etc.
It is expected that the consultant will leverage secondary research to drive this analysis. Access to specific data sources and experts can be discussed as needed.
This is a remote project for a duration of 1 week.
Skills Required
* Prior experience in MnA advisory/research is a plus
* Knowledge of the healthcare sector is expected
* Strong synthesis and communications skills
