Assignment Details

Our client is a leading global biopharmaceutical company and they are looking to engage with an Zero Based Budgeting Expert who can create a governance structure and an overall ZBB program across 4 BUs.

Key Responsibilities :-
- Define ZBB objectives and targets for the overall program and translate them into targets by spend category for each BU
- Consolidate and validate identified savings opportunities by spend category
- Oversee ZBB budget input and review process
- Ensure project objectives are met by monitoring and measuring project progress regularly to determine variances from the project plan, identify risks, assess and analyse, and report in a timely and consistent manner to the leadership teams.

Skills Required

1. High degree of analytical capability with the demonstrated ability to structure business case around a high-level strategic vision.
2. Strong strategic skills, with the proven ability to identify and assess key points, implications and recommendations.
3. Advanced understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes.
4. Demonstrated in depth understanding of common business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis.
5. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, tax reporting and accounting practices.
6. Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.
7. Proficiency in Essbase, Smart View, and Hyperion Planning.
