Assignment Details
Our client, a top tier consulting firm, is looking to engage with a data engineer who can help them develop efficient and accurate analytical models that mimic business decisions for one of their clients. The end objective would be the creation of performance dashboards and alerts (physical i.e., with screens and virtual) by integrating multiple data sources.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with translators to define technical problem statement and
hypothesis to test
2. Design, create, tests and implements models and algorithms that
drive analytical solutions throughout the organization & mimic business
decisions
3. Collaborates with translators and understands business problems to
implement scalable and sustainable solutions
4. Coordinates with MIS, Digital Specialists, and Data Scientists to deliver
holistic analytical solutions
5. Test and maintain data components to improve efficiency and keep
up with changing business needs
6. Working closely with the digital teams across the enterprise to ensure
digital adoption and accurate collection and recording of data
NOTE: This project will be based out of Ahmedabad with some local travel to Mumbai, where the business team is located.
Skills Required
- Experience with programming is required
- Experience of working with large data sets, simulation/ optimization
and distributed computing tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Worked with SQL, Oracle, etc.
- Worked with PowerBI, Oracle, MySQL, Informatica, Tableau, QlikView
or similar reporting and BI packages
- Knowledge of web application development technologies such as
Ruby on Rails, Java, UNIX, HTML, CSS, Perl, or PHP a plus
- Openness to working in agile environments with multiple
stakeholders
