We are looking for experts with Sales and Go-to-market experience in the high-technology industry to help us with an outside-in competitive benchmarking exercise.
Key responsibilities are:
• Understand client requirement and share insights to align the following:
- Framework to be used for the benchmarking
- Companies and technologies to be mapped
- Parameters to benchmark by function/business model
- Geographies to be covered
• Collect and analyze data from public sources and research reports to develop first level hypotheses on the questions (across financials, performance, processes, practices and approaches)
• Conduct targeted expert calls to go deeper into specific aspects
• Synthesize the findings and share critical insights in the form of a summary presentation for syndication with the client
• Participate in client discussions on the findings and takeaways as needed
The client is US-based and the consultant will be required to support the project remotely with calls/skype discussions as needed. Travel will not be involved.
• Sound understanding of the strategies/processes pertaining to marketing and sales in high-technology industry
• Knowledge of key trends in the technology space globally will be a plus
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skill. Should be able to analyze the data in a meaningful way to derive multiple KPI's from the data provided
