Assignment Details

A top tier consulting firm is looking for a Regulatory approvals/Liaising Expert to join their team on an ongoing client engagement. The expert must have in depth expertise and understanding of Regulatory process, documents required, timelines, appropriate agencies, etc. for setting up chemical plants in India.

Some key deliverable are:
• Identify all regulatory hurdles that need to be cleared and all government bodies that need to be liaised with for setting up a chemical plant
• Prepare the team and stakeholders for ministry meetings
• Lead strategies and documents preparation for hearing
• Liaise/ manage relationships with the all the concerned organizations in the
process of obtaining regulatory approval
• Review the regulatory plans, identify gaps and advise on best practices
• Ensure compliance with all the regulations and laws in setting up and operating chemical fertilizer plants

The role is based in Mumbai.

Skills Required

• Hands on experience of Regulatory process, documents required, timelines, appropriate agencies etc.
• End-to-end knowledge of environmental clearance approval filing and process
• Experience/understanding of government liaising/regulatory approval for Maharashtra or Odisha region will be a huge plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Relationship management/ Liaising
