Assignment Details

Our client is a leading FMCG Comapny, looking to engage with Procurement Consultant who can work in Driving service, savings and compliances in the Indirect procurement space ranging across wide variety of Business services (BPO /KPO companies, workplace vendors, Travel vendors etc, for the short project based in Mumbai.

Roles & responsibilities include:
- Negotiating contracts with service providers and optimize costs, and contract
finalization, and Implementing cost saving initiatives.
- Drive the compliance requirements being rolled out to vendors and
ensure that mandatory compliance standards are met including contracts
- Ensure lead / support on end to end strategic project globally
- Running on E-tender
- Will have to contact Internally: Business leads like HR / Finance, UL global Procurement team – other internal stakeholders as well as Externally: Agencies, procurement agencies and vendors
- Have to report to Senior Procurement manager – Global Business Services Manager
- Need to identify new vendors in wide spectrum of business services across country /global

Project Duration: 6-9 Months

Skills Required

- Good analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Should be adaptive of working in global environment.
- MBA / Master degree in finance/ Supply chain/ operational management is a must
- Should have prior experience in Indirect procurement for 7-8 years
- Experience of sourcing BPO contracts on behalf of companies is preferred
- Good understanding /experience of digital procurement is preferable (like AI, Machinelearning, E-tender etc)
