Assignment Details

Our client is a leading daily Hindi language newspaper company. They are looking for an interim Chief Marketing Consultant who will be responsible for the impact of the brand on business performance, by managing the disposition of all relevant constituencies

Key Responsibility:

1. Focus
• Having a comprehensive view on the key constituencies, based on the business result they want to achieve
• Identifying the perception and equity enjoyed by the brand across its key constituents

2. Communication:
• Creating annual branding calendars covering the activities for all the key constituencies
• Creating an effective plan to address the perception of the firm among the key constituencies
• Getting on board, managing and extracting the best out of external partners such as advertising agencies, research agencies, digital marketing firms, PR companies and design agencies (as and when required)
• Developing marketing videos, literature, messages and presentations, as required

3. Consistency:
• Managing the consistent deployment of the corporate brand across all the key constituencies. This would include usage of the logo, the formats for written communication, presentations etc.
• Ensuring that ‘who we are’ as a brand is experienced consistently across all touch points

4. Resourcing:
• Creating an annual marketing budget and ensuring that the marketing plan (along with different business units) is converted into milestones and deliverables
• Resourcing, developing and mentoring a marketing team

5. Measurement:
• Instituting specific metrics that will track the impact of the brand activities on specific constituencies
• Developing a review mechanism with a periodicity to report the impact of the marketing activities on the overall business, (to the management)

Note: This project is based out of Jaipur. Full time support will be required for 6 months

Skills Required

1. Prior experience of working with consumer facing technology company
2. Hands on exposure to both traditional and digital marketing (offline and online)
3. Should have experience of working cross functionally to ensure marketing programs are in-line with company objectives
