Assignment Details

OOur client, a leading confectionery manufacturing company, is looking to engage with a senior food technologist to drive a new product launch strategy for the next 18 months. This project will be undertaken in 2 phases.
Roles and Responsibilities :

Phase 1 :

1) Plan and implement a new product launch strategy for the company
2) Research the current Indian confectionery consumer markets and latest technologies to develop new product launch concepts
3) Map the top opportunity areas against the client's manufacturing capabilities to develop a prioritised set of product ideas
4) For the next two months, strategise and conceptualize these new products, run trials of new products - either alongside or together with product development

Phase 2 :

1) Coordinate with internal food inspection and hygiene teams and flavour companies, and create a smooth and effective communication stream
2) Create working version of prototypes
3) Coordinate across stakeholders and ensure smooth delivery

Skills Required

1) Working knowledge of food safety and quality management is preferred
2) A background in Research/Food Technology is expected
3) Strong written and verbal communication skills required
4) Work experience in the food manufacturing industry is advantageous
