Assignment Details
Our client, a leading chemicals manufacturing company, is looking to engage with a consultant to understand the tech know-how and determine the manufacturing process for Salicylic acid and Salicylaldehyde.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Phase I:
1) Locate a source for the know-how for the 2 products, who have the capability to sell/license/transfer the know-how.
2) Identify potential technology licensors and also identify a list of companies who may be in a position to develop the process technology for manufacture of Salicylic acid/aldehyde.
Phase II :
If Phase I is successful, prepare a detailed project report establishing the technical feasibility and commercial viability of the project.
Phase III:
On completion of Ph II to satisfaction, engage in designing and implementing the
project.
Each phase will be a milestone, and the next phase will be dependent on the success/viability of the previous phase.
Skills Required
- 15+ years of experience in the chemicals industry
- Experience with sourcing of tech know-how for chemical products
- Well versed in research and report making
