Assignment Details
Our client, a top tier consulting firm, is looking to engage with a tech consultant who can provide technical support and technical quality control throughout all stages of one of their projects.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Understand company needs to define system specifications
2. Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
3. Communicate system requirements to software development teams
4. Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
5. Oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members
6. Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
7. Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
8. Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
9. Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
NOTE: This project will be based out of Ahmedabad for a duration of approximately 3 months.
Skills Required
- 8+ years of experience in application, database, network and sensor architecture, engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, application security
- Experience in cloud computing, embedded system programming, big data analytics, AI/Machine Learning
- Deep knowledge in industrial process control domain
- At least 5 years of experience building process controller applications
- Knowledge of commissioning of advanced control applications (eg, DCS algorithms);
- Knowledge of SCADA, MES, Industrial Automation systems and historians, DCS / PLC
- Good knowledge and understanding of manufacturing process and experience of working in low tech environment as well
- Deep knowledge of the advanced control applications to improve production efficiency and reliability
- Knowledge of model identification, step testing, commissioning and tuning of control applications
