Assignment Details

Our client, is the Family Investments office of Dr. Reddy’s Co-Promoter. They are looking for a consultant who will provide an investment thesis on the fast-growing segment of MockMeat/Alternative Protein in the Food-tech space

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide an Investment Thesis on the identified sector provided by the Investment team. The area of focus would be the fast-growing segment of MockMeat/Alternative Protein in the Food-tech space.
2. Provide market landscape with TAMs, SAMs across various segments in the Indian, Developed markets, GCC & South-east Asia market geographies.
3. Draw supply-chain flow-charts & framework analysis of various products, ingredients and their present/potential demand in the industry
4. Provide deep insights on entry barriers, regulatory structures, competition & price matrix, ancillary and allied businesses in the sector.
5. Identify future business & technological trends in the sectors, which have the potential to disrupt the market.
6. Build a detailed presentation clearly bringing out the investment hypothesis (potential investment merits and risks, Business entry plan, B2B, B2C, B2B2C routes) with a budget of USD 7 mn deployment in the sector.

Note: This is a 1 month project requiring remote support.

Skills Required

- Worked on Consulting/GTM strategy project for a Consulting/Investment Co.
- Experience in the Food Retail & Food Ingredient industry.
- Advanced business analysis and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong sense for structure and logic.
