Assignment Details

This is an excellent opportunity to work, here in Gurgaon, on a project with global footprint at one of the world’s largest multinationals. We are looking for a Controls & Process Risk Specialist to ensure the compliance effectiveness of the Business Services & Support (BS&S) control environment by monitoring controls, supporting Internal & External Audits, and providing compliance support and advice.

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to ensure a strong control environment for Business Services and Support processes.You will report to the Compliance and Governance Manager to:

1. Support BS&S teams to comply with data privacy legislation, providing advice and supporting remediation
2. Process walkthrough of controls in RACMs
3. Review and maintain risk and control matrices updates
4. Monitor control execution through sampling, walkthroughs and reportingupon the methodology/scripts approved by the QA team
5. Manage quality checks performed by partner Quality Teams
6. Analyze types of failures (processes, frequency, root cause) and provide advice and recommendations
8. Manage the follow up of control failures and issues
9. Monitors the annual DTP review process
10. Support BS&S quarterly certification process
11. Review of quality management tool to identify control and quality check failures. Engage with SD QA leads for all major control failures as well as any other on need basis
14. Support Global Process Champion and Service Delivery in control alignment and process standardization
15. Train and educate BS&S teams on compliance and controls obligations

Skills Required

1. A finance and/or business degree; a CA degree will be a plus
2. Robust knowledge of audit procedures and related processes
3. 5-10 years of Finance and accounting and/or payroll and employee data knowledge, with some controls/compliance scope
4. Experience in risk management and compliance disciplines
5. A continuous improvement approach
6. Analytical Skills
7. A collaborative approach
8. Ability to work across organizational lines, as a team
9. Global exposure
