Our client is working with a diversified French group that focuses on providing business services to a variety of sectors incl. Oil & Gas, Construction, Rail etc. They have a small presence in India and are currently evaluating how big the India opportunity could be for them and how they can capitalise on it.
The client is looking for 2 India-based consultants to work as part of the team.
The project will involve the following:
- Assessing the market size, trends and growth drivers for the selected verticals within business services - using a combination of secondary research, interviews and expert conversations
- Mapping business models and competitors in each vertical, understanding industry economics
- Understanding the regulatory landscape and how that is likely to evolve
- Developing a view on the Go to Market strategy for the high potential verticals, which looks at a combination of organic and inorganic opportunities
- Developing a shortlist of potential acquisition or JV/partnership target based on an assessment along key parameters
- Outline a broad business plan for the next 3 - 5 years for each vertical
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a top tier consulting firm is expected
- Ability to independently lead a work stream from driving the research and analytics to developing hypothesis
- Strong experience in developing high-quality synthesized end products
- Exposure to the B2B or industrials space will be a huge plus
