UnLtd Tamil Nadu is an incubator for social entrepreneurs in South India, we are based out of Auroville, an international township. At UnLtd Tamil Nadu we SEARCH, SELECT and SUPPORT exceptional individuals who are committed to solve some of India's biggest challenges using their passion and entrepreneurial skills.

Social entrepreneurs use tools from the business world to solve social problems like poverty, hunger, disease and pollution. There are thousands of talented and passionate change-makers in Tamil Nadu who could transform this country, given the right support! Our goal is to incubate 30 social entrepreneurs over the next two years, who will in turn change 180,000 people's lives.

Assignment Details

This person will explore and raise funds through various avenues, eg. grants, foundations and CSR. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of fundraising, from developing relationships with important stakeholders to writing proposals and ensuring disbursement to UnLtd Tamil Nadu. Additionally, they may support the organisation and investees with crowdfunding. *This role is success fee based, a small portion of funds raised will be provided based on the type of funds.

Skills Required

Responsibilities:
· Develop strategy for fundraising in collaboration with Finance and Business Development teams, and with fundraisers across the UnLtd India network (Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, London, USA)
· Create donor pipeline of Corporates, Grants, Foundations and Individuals
· Partner with suitable donors to raise funds for present & consequent financial year
· Ensure that reports are sent to donors based on their reporting requirement.
· Collaborate with Communications Person to build campaigns to raise funds through crowdfunding for our investees and UnLtd TN

Desired education, skills and experience
· Graduate/Post-graduate/pursuing graduation in any field related to business, sales, marketing or relevant experience in fundraising
· Basic understanding of traditional, digital and social media marketing techniques
· Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) & presentation skills
· Multi-tasking ability and time management skills to deliver multiple projects within tight deadlines
· Ability to network with people at all levels of an organisation and strong interpersonal skills
· Have an eye for detail and accuracy
