Assignment Details

The Marketing Manager will be accountable for the following:

1) Identification of key customer needs specific to baking products
2) Development of marketing plans for both company-owned retail stores and partner stores (online and offline) encompassing local customer activation events, offers, sales, workshops etc.
3) Create and execute strategies to execute marketing plans
4) Developing strong partnerships with offline and online partner stores
5) Market online ordering from company website as one of the sales avenues
6) Measuring returns on marketing spends
7) Developing a marketing team to carry on and execute the plans

Skills Required

1) Ability to work in a start-up environment
2) Execution oriented – must be able to deliver on conventional marketing plans
3) Able to identify a customer need based on field observations
4) Must understand and be familiar with social networking tools
5) PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills
6) Understanding of market research techniques and ability to draw conclusions from the data
7) Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to summarize complex information in a clear and concise manner
8) Excellent poise and confidence when interacting with customers, partners and sales staff
9) Proactive
