1. Market for study is presently Thailand.
2. Map current landscape for medical equipment used in elective (and mainly non-emergency) procedures w.r.t. installed base of equipment, growth in new installations (& replacement) demand.
3. Map competitors share, growth, organization, sales & distribution practices, marketing programs & initiatives and future plans.
4. Understand un-met needs of doctors & hospitals on clinical aspects & for product (best practices, skills upgradation, use of new technology), or for customer engagement (distribution & service of equipment, response time for repair & maintenance).
5. Visit (sample-based) hospitals across Thailand to map installed base, understand business (mainly, product demand) drivers and understand voice-of-customer.
6. Undertake segmentation across multiple variables - by product type, by hospital type, by customer (doctor), by geography.
7. Clearly map product market drivers and build rationale to forecast (product) market demand until year 2020.
1. Min. 10 years of senior manager experience across ASEAN.
2. Medical device industry experience across ASEAN.
3. Sales, Marketing, Business Planning, General Management experience.
4. Ability to build excel-based financial / forecast model.
5. Ability to write clearly articulated powerpoint slides.
