Assignment Details

We are looking to push the sales of our Agricultural based products via the Distributor/ Dealer model. We could work out an arrangement for the right candidate to do 1 state i.e. Maharashtra and if successful, we could mutually extend this to other states. The Vision is to have a dealer network across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and MP within the next 2 years. We currently have a dealer network and a full time employee in Chhattisgarh and will be happy to share the experience of the same.

Key responsibilities would be :

• Create a strategy to achieve the 2 year vision of dealers across 5 states
• Creating a dealer/ distributor network of 30 dealers across Maharashtra, or generating sales of over 30 MT/ month across products within 6 months, whichever is higher – existing dealers of drip irrigation/ pesticides/ horticulture implements/ seeds, etc would be prospective clients
• Monitoring the initial order placed, payment made and logistics of material to be transported
• Identifying and appointing local personnel/ delegating responsibilities of follow ups to existing sales person based in Chhattisgarh

Skills Required

A desired candidate would have the following key skills :
• Email communication
• Well versed with Microsoft office
• Has a good existing Farm Implements dealer/ distributor network
• Is able to create and manage a team (get reporting from)
• Is ambitious and aggressive to grow with the firm
• Has had 4-5 years of experience creating/ strategizing distribution channels for farm implements

About the Client

We along with our sister concern M/s. Durga Polyflex Industries are in the manufacturing of Mono/ Multilayer printed/ plain LDPE/ LLDPE/ HDPE based plastic films/ bags. Following is the list of products we have in our portfolio :
• Films used in FFS for food packing (eg. Liquid Milk, Oil, Water packing)
• Mulch Films or Agricultural Films
• Nursery Bags – used for cropping plants/ trees in a Nursery (Horticulture)
• Shrink Films (used to pack a bunch of bottles, cover huge machinery while in transit, etc)
• Liner bags – used for packing food stuff like dehydrated onion, potato, etc.
• Carry bags
• Any customized product that the customer may seek
