Assignment Details

The assignment details are as follows:
• To own and manage a project network starting with pilot in 2 states.
• To hold the responsibility for finalizing the model by which the additional RSSMs required, post the structure migration, can be deployed. Will require evaluation of various methods possible, and coming up with the best model that fits the requirement.
• To be responsible in ensuring that the RSSM piece lands effectively, in a time bound banner across clusters
• To capture the learnings from the two states: in terms of issues and hurdles, managing change, etc
• To create a playbook containing all the necessary guidelines, that can be followed by a cluster when – and if – they migrate from their current structure to the one that either state has.
Why is the assignment important:
• During the last 5 years, HUL’s focus has been on increasing our coverage of the outlet universe.
• Currently with our coverage, HUL needs to win in each outlet and the levers for the same are assortment growth / enablers for assortment growth (RSSM on ground) and training our teams
• Driving assortment in our current coverage will not only help tap the existing demand, but also securitize our shares with next few years.
How will we know it is successful:
- Completing the objectives, within the specified timelines
- Ensuring that there is no transition loss in the whole process
- Finding the most cost effective method for deploying the RSSM piece
- Creation of the playbook, complete with all the necessary HYCs and FAQs
What is the assignment trying to do for the business?
- The CD 2020 projects will help us increase our growths, as well as securitize shares for the next few years. Therefore, finding the best possible method to do so – basis the learning from state pilots – will be crucial to a full scale rollout, across the country, over the next year.

Skills Required

This project is only for women as it is part of the Career By Choice program of HUL. The program is for female professionals looking to return to their careers after a break, and gives them a chance to work flexibly.

The skills required for the assignment are as below:
- At least 2-3 years of prior experience in the FMCG industry
- Worked as an ASM for a large FMCG client

The deliverables will include:
• Creating a model for deploying RSSMs as per the cluster requirements: finalizing the TOT for RSs, SLAs, and KPIs
• Creating a playbook for project deployment across other clusters
